It's short for "persona" (or "fursona" in the furry community).
Basically, it's a character you make to represent yourself.

Is it an English translation of Chinese Pinyin?Or is it Chinese translated into English?
I'm not from China or Taiwan, and I'm not someone who understands Chinese, so I'm not sure what the definition of "English translation of a Chinese name" is...
For now, I will write here the case of typing in pinyin and the case of translating "夏實" in English.

Pinyin Spelling：Xiashi
If "夏實" is translated：Natsumi
